Dublin-based Coolgirl, Lizzie Fitzpatrick, has created an eerie bass-drenched soundscape supplemented by a knocking radiator in her latest single ‘High Altar’ via Veta Records.

In a video absolutely saturated in red, ‘High Altar’ leads us on a liminal tour of mirrors and other in-between places. Over a solid bass foundation, synths wane and wail in an almost wounded sense, which imprints a mysterious and supernatural quality to the track. ‘High Altar’ is an exquisitely ominous song that will resonate with lovers of ghostly music or dark lo-fi.

Coolgirl will be releasing her full album, Failed Reboot, later this year on 8 November.
