Beatrix and Sarah always deliver moody heartsick tunes that make you reflect on past (and current) loves. ‘Break My Heart’ is from FLTY BRGR GRL’s upcoming sophomore album Happily Ever Never (out 22nd September).
‘Break My Heart’ lives up to the title. Taking inspiration from Beatrix’s own heartbreak, ‘Break My Heart’ is a song that will bring out your melodramatic side.
“I Can’t Make You Love Me” is a beautiful song and we wanted to somehow pay tribute to Bonnie Raitt. ‘Break My Heart’ has a lot in common with her song, even though they have a totally different vibe. We want people to have the same relationship to our song as we have had with ‘I Can’t Make You Love Me’, a song I listened to on repeat after my last unrequited love incident.”
