Zimbabwean-born / British-raised rising indie pop singer Sol Child shares her latest single, ‘Hate Is A Losing Game’.

While previous single ’Natalie’s Melody‘ was a love song to herself, ‘Hate Is A Losing Game’ is a hate song to the world’s system. Sol Child’s emotional yet philosophical songwriting comes alive on this track.

“I constantly wonder if people truly believe that they will never face oppression, because if this society does eradicate those who are at the bottom of the social ladder, who do they think will be oppressed next; the eradicated? Do they truly believe that those in charge will grant them mercy? We’ve been told that people are only able to pull down because they are under you, but I’ve seen that not to be as truthful as people stand on others to not be seen as lesser, different or someone that can be mistreated; are people really jealous or has transphobia, misogyny and racism been allowed to thrive because people need scapegoats for how much they hate themselves and their own status in a world that constantly tries to mould everyone into the “acceptable” human form.”
