‘(Death)’ is the debut single by The Inevitable Collapse of Stasis, the brainchild of Alison Carol. Alison, an out, proud, gay, and transgender woman has been writing and producing music for the last 13 years and this debut single does not disappoint.

With strong guitars and vocals, I was reminded of a mellower version of early Superchunk. This song had me dancing round the kitchen. Definitely an artist to watch out for.

“‘(Death)’ was written in 2018 as part of demos for a new project. While that project was scrapped, it was finally recorded in 2020 during the first lull in Covid and I decided to hold on to it until the time was right. Celebrating one year on HRT feels like the perfect time to announce my new project.“
