Out today, ‘Hit the Ground from Manchester’s The Strangerz is our track of the day today.
We loved hosting this band in London last year and it’s great to see them making a big splash on the scene with their brilliantly shouty feminist punk.
Single ‘Hit the Ground’ is, they say loosely inspired by frontwoman Martha’s urge to never leave her bed and sleep as close to the floor as possible.
Gig Dates:
19 March- Headline Castle Manchester
28 April- Night & Day Cafe, Manchester (supporting Shonen Knife)
3 June- Garlic Bread Club w/ Riskee & The Ridicule & Piss Kitti, Retro Bar, Manchester
