Figured this might be a good way to start the week – or at least a realistic way . At the tender age of 16 Kali (from New Zealand) has managed to capture in song how many of us feel much of the time. The title of the track ‘Too Tired’ gives it away! Competent beyond her years it is not suprising to learn that she started music lessons aged 4. What is surprising is the casual cool non chalence with which she pulls off this indie, lo-fi bedroom track. Passionate and self taught at Garageband recordings its clear from this solo debut that we will be hearing more from her. You heard it here at Loud Women first.
