LA-based alt-pop star Charlotte Sands shares the music video for ‘None of My Business’ from her new album Satellite.
The video, directed by Juan Flores and Ethan Jones, was co-edited by Charlotte and Flores, with Charlotte styling the entire shoot herself using tailored thrifted pieces. ‘None of My Business’ is a high-voltage standout moment from Satellite.
“I knew the video had to match the song’s energy while still being something we could realistically pull off on an indie budget. I immediately started building a mood board of editorial office photoshoots with a Y2K, slightly Severance-inspired color palette, and found an old record studio office outside of LA that matched the aesthetic perfectly. I loved the idea of tying the visuals back to the album cover and letting the video be driven by the performance and chaos of the song.”
