Los Angeles band MyVeronica shares explosive new track ‘Calf’ – the follow up to their debut EP I Can Carry It All, released last year. The band takes on a heavier sound on ‘Calf’ that cuts through the dreamy vibe embedded on MyVeronica’s debut. This latest track was inspired by Laura Gilpin‘s ‘Two Headed Calf’ poem.

“‘Calf’ is an exploration in contrast— hard and soft, loud and quiet, life and death. I wanted to explore the ways that these contrasting parts inform each other. We buried a bunch of guitar noise and feedback under the main instrumental of the song to create a sonic duality that explores this idea further. Every track on this song plays with contrast, summing up to create the feeling of ebbing and flowing throughout the song.”
