We are delighted to bring you today the premiere of ‘Roaring at the Preachers’ by MeMe Detroit – aka Birmingham multi-instrumentalist Maria Rodriguez. Here’s sneak preview of tomorrow’s general release for this stadium-ready alt-rock anthem, calling out religious hypocrisy and toxicity.

“Preachers is a roaring sing along anthem inspired by the imperious nature of certain people in this world who are driven by a really weird need to push their beliefs on others. So much so, to the point they become a hypocrisy of the very thing they’re usually pushing.

Recognising a frustration and bewilderment in myself when witnessing or bearing the brunt in person of animosity around different belief systems. Roaring At The Preachers is a 3 minutes and 40 second passion driven an(gst)them, written as a cathartic release to rid any negative residue these so called “Preachers” leave behind and, to instead, let love and empathy lead the way. It’ll make you feel a whole lot fucking better and the world a much brighter place.”
