US-German noise-rock band SMILE announce their new album, Gun-Shy, out 22 January 2027 via Siluh Records, and share the lead single and video, ‘Gotta Run’.
SMILE features Rubee Fegan on vocals, Marius Szarnych on drums, Sebastian Lessel and Lars Fritzsche on guitar, and Max Schmidt on bass.
The follow-up to their debut album Price of Progress, Gun-Shy marks the band’s next chapter. Lead single ‘Gotta Run’ is an urgent, consuming rush that makes you want to move.
Accompanying the single is a fast-paced, first-person music video filmed in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Rubee Fegan’s hometown.
“The goal is to get out.GTA 6, first person, free world exploration style. It’s about leaving and why; what a violent system teaches the body to do even after escape.”
