Elena Tonra of acclaimed London indie-folk band Daughter announces the return of her solo project Ex:Re with new album Save As, out 30 October, alongside lead single ‘Radio Station’.
A surreal song about an endless California road trip, ‘Radio Station’ mirrors Tonra’s restless mind, weaving together fragments of memories and slivers of overheard conversations. Rich guitars and Tonra’s hypnotic vocals create a trance-like atmosphere as she moves through stations of her mind, shifting throughout the track. Tonra shares:
“The changing radio station is something I experience a lot – the push and pull of different feelings, and I end up getting stuck because I can’t make decisions.”
