Mississippi-based singer-songwriter Arabella returns with ‘Designer’, an alt-pop breakup anthem that blends the polished pop hooks of Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo with a sharper, more bitter edge. Following the release of debut single ‘Drama Queen’ and her EP People Pleaser, Arabella has built her audience through relentless touring and personal, emotionally detailed songwriting.
‘Designer’ is the kind of breakup song that comes from watching an ex move on and realizing that, somehow, pieces of you are still walking around with them. Arabella takes that feeling and turns it into a clever metaphor: what if the person everyone admires now is partly a creation of the person they left behind?
