London-based folk singer/songwriter Charlie Franklin releases her self-titled debut EP.

Produced by Natalie Wildgoose, with guitar and vocals recorded entirely on the first take, every drag across the guitar fret and birdsong in the background can be heard. A beautiful getaway from the bustle of London into the tranquility of the woods, the EP finds solace in nature while reflecting on love, loss, and self-discovery.

Latest single ‘Take The Blame’ is a bluesy and emotionally raw reflection on a candid phone call with an ex, with nothing left unsaid.

“I wrote ‘Take the Blame’ just after hanging up from a very honest phone call with my ex. It was a year or so since we’d broken up, we had a very deep and intense love. And on this phone call we just expressed everything we had felt during and after our relationship, the regrets, the angers, the sadness, the love, the bitterness, the grief. And it was a really beautiful moment of both of us taking responsibility for the way It had ended, and showing gratitude for the love we shared.”
