Bay Area-based pop singer-songwriter, producer, and classically trained pianist Anja Kotar shares her new single ‘Writers & Lovers’. The track is the latest chapter in Kotar’s ongoing Bookstore album project, released song by song, with each track inspired by a different book genre, title, cover, or bookstore find.
Inspired by a book cover titled Writers & Lovers, Kotar ponders, “What would the world be without the writers and lovers,” on the sparkling indie-pop bop.
The accompanying music video was directed and edited by Kotar and filmed in her backyard.
