Lala Lala, the project of Lillie West, releases her new album and Sub Pop debut, Heaven 2.
On her fourth album, Lala explores the tension between stillness and the freedom of leaving, and what it means for the creative spirit. Heaven 2 serves as a soundtrack to this journey.
From Chicago to New Mexico, Reykjavík, London, and Los Angeles, Lala’s movement is mirrored in Heaven 2, a passport in search of more. Swirling synths, moments of melodrama, and unfiltered joy weave an emotional thread throughout the album.
