Fiona-Lee

Yorkshire artist Fiona-Lee’s single ‘Every Woman’ (from her upcoming EP of the same name, out 17 April 2026 via Capitol Records / Gravity) is an entreaty demanding a better world for women.

The song opens with a haunting melodic guitar that pulls the listener in right before Fiona-Lee enters with her commanding voice, akin to Florence Welch and MARINA over simpatico guitars. The song builds and builds in energy to compliment lyrics such as:

“I could tell him what you did to me / and how you couldn’t handle my confrontation” and “Boys should be educated / Boys should learn to cry / and not feel emasculated”

As the titular track, ‘Every Woman’ highlights the raw honesty necessary when exploring themes of accountability, witnessing, and testimony. Fiona-Lee makes this clear when she says about the song:

It’s clear we have failed and are still failing to teach young men how to respect women. This song is about releasing that shame and reclaiming power. It’s about taking action and confronting those who should be held accountable.”

Her debut UK headline tour begins in April, including dates in London and Manchester. Be sure to stay in the loop by signing up for her mailing list, following her on Instagram, and pre-ordering her EP.
