Melbourne pop artist Kirrilee returns with new single ‘The View’. On this heartfelt track, she showcases the power of friendship and empathy.
“I wrote this song whilst watching my best friend go through a really awful relationship with someone who treated them like garbage, didn’t appreciate them, and hurt them continuously. All I could do was be there for her whilst she went through this awful thing. After a particularly terrible interaction, she called me, but I was three hours away, and all I wanted to do was give her a hug and tell her it would be okay. So instead, after getting off the phone, I sat down and wrote this song for her.”
