If you’ve been wondering which new band is going to blow the roof off LOUD WOMEN Fest London this year, wonder no longer — it’s BE N!CE, and they’ve just dropped the kind of double single that makes you want to throw your phone in the Thames and start a circle pit in your local Tesco.
MISINFORMA is the sound of every Andrew Tate fanboy being dragged outside and given a stern talking-to in the car park. A serrated riff slices through the track while Pol Mills delivers a furious tirade against the poisonous, pseudo-alpha nonsense being shoved down young men’s throats online. By the time the whole band joins in for the background screams and the final frothing rant, it’s less a song and more an exorcism of toxic masculinity. Delicious.
Then comes I FEEL ALIVE — a 50-second detonation of hardcore euphoria. It’s giddy, sweaty, and gone before you can catch your breath, leaving you half-convinced you have actually just necked a dodgy pill in a nightclub toilet. Punk songs this short and sharp don’t just punch you in the face; they kiss you on the cheek afterwards.
Produced by Charlie Wilson at Monolith Studios, this is BE N!CE at their heaviest, tightest, and most gloriously unhinged yet. With The Vaguely Threatening Tour about to kick off, and a LOUD WOMEN Fest London slot this Saturday, they’re proving themselves not just ones to watch — but ones to clear the pit for.
LOUD WOMEN’s Single of the Week, and quite possibly the soundtrack to your next glorious bruise.
