Manchester four-piece Witch Fever shares ‘FEVEREATEN’, the epic title track from their upcoming second album, out 31 October via Music For Nations / Sony.
Witch Fever continues their deep dive into growing up in a Charismatic Christian church, a journey that began on their 2022 debut album Congregation. FEVEREATEN is a darker exploration of religious trauma, mental health, relationships, and adulthood.
“I wrote ‘FEVEREATEN’ when I realised I couldn’t stop myself writing about the church. It’s about feeling drained by that fixation and being consumed by intrusive thoughts. I’m angry that I struggle more than others and feel like a burden – but I’m also determined to hold onto that anger and use it productively.”
