We’re thrilled to bring you today the premiere of a sparklingly celestial new single from our electro-punk pals Feral Five: ‘Silver Sky’ will be out on digital release on 12 Oct, heralding a stunning new album slated for February 2023 on Reckless Yes. The band tell us:

“‘Silver Sky’ is a glittering and evocative song with a twist. Set in a feral city, it’s about a sky that never gets dark because of light pollution, something that scientists say is affecting animals and plants. 
“There’s a need for change as well as adaptation and it features silvered vocals, alien-like AI voices (trained in Berlin on Kat’s voice), big beats, synths and played crystals and asks ‘whose city is this?’”

Ever the supercool music tech innovators, Feral Five worked with German AI technologists Birds on Mars to create an ‘AI Kat’ voice, used throughout the album. Yep, they have their own actual robot bandmate, who doesn’t even drink the rider. Does she help with the load out though?
