The Txlips from Atlanta, GA, are a powerful AF rocknroll band providing an inspiration for women of colour worldwide. Hosting them at LOUD WOMEN Fest on 14 Sept is a huge privilege – they headline the Boston Music Room stage at 10pm and you really must not miss them!
1. For people who’ve not seen you play live before, what can we expect from you at LOUD WOMEN Fest?
You can expect a whirlwind of black girl magic! We are a giant force of energy and our shows warrant people to tap into their inner them. We hope to inspire people to leave our shows and go after what makes them happy and what they are passionate about.
2. Fill in the blanks…
Our sound is like the lovechild of Nirvana and Living Color with a bit of side from Beyonce.
3. Give us your band manifesto in no more than 20 words.
To dominate the music industry and set the tone for women desiring to create their own path. Pussy Is Power.
4. Who are you most looking forward to seeing play at LOUD WOMEN Fest?
Probably Vaginas, what else? I mean come on, the name is epic. lol
5. What made you want to play at LOUD WOMEN Fest? We want to be a part of a festival that celebrates women in the best way possible. We knew this festival would allow us to be on a bill of other amazing women who all have the same general mission to show the world just what women do. It’s our turn now.
Drumroll please as we can finally announce the full 22 track listing for the hotly-anticipated LOUD WOMEN Volume Two compilation album, which will be launched 14 September 2019 at LOUD WOMEN Fest 4!

14 Sept 2019 at London’s Dome and Boston Music Room looks set to see the biggest (and best?) LOUD WOMEN Fest yet! Here’s the news we’ve been dying to tell you for months … our final* lineup, in no particular order …
*I mean, as final as anything is that could possibly have slight changes here and there in cases of sickness, injury, best friends throwing last-minute weddings, that sort of thing. But pretty damn final I’d say!
