Born in Las Vegas, Skyler moved to Los Angeles shortly after graduating high school to pursue a career in music. However, a breast cancer diagnosis put things on hold for a little while. After successfully battling the disease, Skyler’s experience, determination, and gusto became a clear catalyst for her burgeoning career.
“[Breast cancer] doesn’t define me. But now I want to help other people who are going through it. And I want girls to know that they should feel okay in their own skin.”
